Properties of ODEs and PDEs in algebras (Q371811)

In this nice article, the author exhibits various connections between differential equations and algebraic structures, especially in the context of Riccati and Dirac equations. After summarizing the main structural properties of these equations, the notion of isotopy is revisited, as well as the induced equivalence relation on the set of multiplications. Geodesic equations are analyzed by means of the minimization problem, which leads naturally to the study of moving frames for the three dimensional Riccati equation.
