Let \(M\) be a compact manifold such that the boundary, \(\partial M,\) is equipped with a scattering metric and \[ \left( D_t + {{1}\over{2}}\Delta + {{\omega^2}\over{2x^2}} + v \right) \psi = 0 \quad \forall \omega \in\mathbb{R}_+ \] the time-dependent Schrödinger equation where \(v\) is a self-adjoint perturbation term that can include both magnetic and electric potential terms. The author, in [\textit{J. Wunsch}, Duke Math. J. 98, 137-186 (1999)], describes the propagation of the boundary of the quadratic scattering cotangent bundle, for perturbations of the free particle Schrödinger equation on \(M.\) In this note, the author obtains the analogous results for the harmonic oscillator.
