    Suppose that \(\beta_0, \beta_1, p\in (0,1)\) and \(T_i x := \beta_i (x+ i)\), \(i=0,1\), are affine transformations on the real line \(\mathbb{R}\). A Borel measure \(\mu^p_{\beta_0,\beta_1}\) on \(\mathbb{R}\) is called a non-uniform self-similar measure if it satisfies the self-referential equation \[ \mu^p_{\beta_0,\beta_1} = p\,T_0 (\mu^p_{\beta_0,\beta_1}) + (1-p)\, T_1(\mu^p_{\beta_0,\beta_1}). \] The author proves the following result for absolutely continuous measures \(\mu^p_{\beta_0,\beta_1}\): For all \(p\in (0,1)\) and for a.e. \(\beta_0, \beta_1\in (0, 0.6684)\) with \(\beta_0 < p\) and \(\beta_1 < 1 - p\), the measure \(\mu^p_{\beta_0,\beta_1}\) is multifractal.
