Let \(R\) be a ring with \(1\). If any annihilator right ideal \(\mathrm{ann}^R_r(A)\) for \(A \subset R\) is comparable with every right ideal of \(R\), then \(R\) is called a right annelidan ring. The class of right annelidan rings contains the class of right uniserial rings and is contained in the class of lineal rings. Let \(R\) be a right annelidan ring. The authors show some basic properties of \(R\). It is shown that the set of left (resp. right) zero-divisors of \(R\) is a completely prime ideal. Let \(\mathrm{Nil}_{\star}(R)\) be the prime radical, \(L(R)\) the Levizki nilradical, \(\mathrm{Nil}^{\star}(R)\) the upper nilradical, \(\eta(R)\) the set of nilpotent elements and \(A(R)\) the sum of all nil right ideals of \(R\). Suppose \(R\) satisfies any one of the following chain conditions: the \(acc\) (ascending) on right annihilators of elements, the \(acc\) on principal right ideals, the \(acc\) on left annihilators of elements, the \(acc\) on principal left ideals. Then \(N_1(R) = \mathrm{Nil}_{\star}(R) = L(R) = \mathrm{Nil}^{\star}(R) = A(R) = \eta(R) = Z(R_R) =\) the set of left zero divisors of \(R\), where \(N_1(R)\) is the sum of all nilpotent ideals and \(Z(R_R)\) is the right singular ideal of \(R\). Also the following are equivalent conditions for \(R\): {\parindent=6mm \begin{itemize}\item[(i)] For any \(a, b \in R, \;aR \subset \mathrm{ann}^R_r(b)\) or \(\mathrm{ann}^R_r(b) \subset aR.\) \item[(ii)] For any incomparable right ideals \(I, J\) of \(R, \mathrm{ann}^R_l(I) = \mathrm{ann}^R_l(J)\). \item[(iii)] For any right ideals \(I, J\) of \(R, \;I \subset J\) or \(\mathrm{ann}^R_l(I) \subset \mathrm{ann}^R_l(J)\). \item[(iv)] For any \(a, b \in R, \;aR \subset bR\) or \(\mathrm{ann}^R_l(a) \subset \mathrm{ann}^R_l(b)\). \end{itemize}} More equivalent conditions are given for a right annelidan Dorroh extension \(k \oplus A\) for an algebra \(A\) over a field \(k\), a split-null extension \(S \alpha M\) of a semiprimitive ring \(S\) by a bimodule \(_SM_S\), and the ideal extension of an \(S\)-ring \(A\) by a semiprimitive ring \(S\). Moreover, it is shown that a right annelidan ring \(R\) is Armendariz, that \(R\) with \(dcc\) (the descending chain condition) on principal right ideals implies the \(acc\) on principal right ideals, and that \(R\) with the \(dcc\) on right annihilators of elements is a power-series Armendariz ring. Characterizations for a right annelidan group algebra over a field and a group ring are also given respectively.
