This paper examines equilibrium points and qualitative theory of compartmental models on a domain \(\Omega\) where the transfer coefficients and excretion coefficients are state-independent. The results are guaranteeing existence and equilibrium points for continuous dynamic nonlinear autonomous models \(\dot x(t)=f(x)\) which can be factored into the form \(\dot x=A(x)x+b\), where \(x=x(t)\geq 0\) and \(b\geq 0\) are \(n\times 1\) nonnegative vectors and \(A(x)=[a_{ij}(x)]\) is an \(n\times n\) ``compartmental matrix''. Asymptotic results, stability results and also a recursive process which generates iterates that converge to steady states for certain types of models are included.
