Group divisible designs in which pairs inside a group appear \(\lambda_1\) times, while pairs containing elements of two groups appear \(\lambda_2\) times, are examined. The blocks of a group divisible design are said to have fixed block configuration when, for each block, the multiset of the sizes of the intersections of that block and all groups does not depend on the particular block chosen. This paper treats cases with block size 6 and two groups, so that the possible fixed block configurations are (1,5), (2,4), and (3,3). A complete solution is given for configuration (3,3), and extensive but incomplete results are developed for the other two configurations.
