Let \(M\) be an oriented \(m\)-manifold and \(\mathfrak N\) be a set consisting of oriented closed manifolds of the same odd dimension \(n\). In this paper the author studies a topological space \(G_{\mathfrak N,M}\) of commutative diagrams, which he calls garlands and which is briefly described as follows. Each garland consists of a few manifolds from \(\mathcal N\) that are mapped to \(M\) and of one point spaces \(pt\) that are each mapped to a pair of manifolds from \(\mathcal N\). The main result of this paper is that the oriented bordism group of \(G_{\mathfrak N,M}\), after tensoring with the rational numbers, admits an associative, graded commutative product and a bracket of degree \(m-2n\), and hence is a \(\mathbb Z\)-graded \((m-2n)\)-Poisson algebra.
