The paper deals with the transverse-field Ising model and the well-known generalization of the standard Ising model for ferromagnetism. It is shown that the magnetization in the tranverse-field Ising model vanishes at the critical point. The proof of this result is based on two main graphical representations of the transverse field Ising models which are respectively the space-time spin representation and the random-parity representation.
