    New estimates for the Cauchy solution of the time-dependent Schrödinger equation \(i \partial_{t}u= - (1/2) \Delta u + Vu\), \(u(0,x)=u_{0}(x)\), in the framework of modulation spaces are obtained. One assumes that \(| \partial_{x}^{\alpha} V(t,x) | \leq C_{\alpha}\), \((t,x) \in \mathbb{R} \times \mathbb{R}^{n}\) for some positive constants \(C_{\alpha}\) and all multi-indices \(\alpha\) with \(| \alpha | \geq 2\) or for all multi-indices \(\alpha\) with \(| \alpha | \geq 1\). In the case \(| \alpha | \geq 2\), a more general result was obtained in [\textit{E. Cordero} et al., J. Math. Pures Appl. (9) 99, No. 2, 219--233 (2013; Zbl 1306.42045)], but the proof provided in the authors' paper is more direct.
