On the asymptotic behavior of counting functions associated to degenerating hyperbolic Riemann surfaces (Q1370393): Difference between revisions

The authors study the asymptotic behaviour of the counting functions on a degenerate hyperbolic Riemannian surface. Similar results have been obtained recently by \textit{J. Dodziuk} and \textit{J. Jorgenson} [Contemp. Math. 201, 191-206 (1997; Zbl 0867.58067)]within the setting of degenerating hyperbolic 3-manifolds of finite volume.
