The authors give a complete classification of all simple weight modules with finite-dimensional weight spaces over higher rank generalized Virasoro algebras, associated with a rank \(n\) additive subgroup of complex numbers. It is shown that each such module is either a module of the intermediate series (such modules are given by simple and explicit formulas and have at most one-dimensional weight spaces) or is the unique simple quotient of the generalized Verma module, parabolically induced from a simple module of the intermediate series over a (generalized) Virasoro subalgebra of rank \(n-1\).
