The paper deals with tilings of the Riemannian 2-sphere by congruent spherical triangles. Here, symmetry groups of them are given as well as the numbers of orbits of the action of these groups on the vertices and faces of the tilings. The authors prove that for each such tiling the graph consisting of the vertices and edges is a singular set of mappings \(f: S^2\to S^2\) which map any piecewise geodesic to a piecewise geodesic of the same length.
