The author investigates the nonlocal initial value problems \[ \begin{cases} u'(t)=Au(t)+f(t,u(t)),\quad t\in (0,T)\\u(0)=g(u)\end{cases}\tag{\(P_1\)} \] and \[ \begin{cases} u'(t)+B(u(t))\ni F(u)(t),\quad t\in (0,T)\\u(0)=g(u),\end{cases}\tag{\(P_2\)} \] in a real Banach space \(X\), where \(A:D(A)\subseteq X\to X\) is the infinitesimal generator of a strongly continuous semigroup of bounded linear operators, \(f:[0,T]\times X\to X\) is a compact mapping, \(B:D(B)\subseteq X\to 2^X\) is an \(m\)-accretive operator on \(X\), \(F:L^1(0,T;X)\to L^1(0,T;X)\) and \(g:C([0,T];X)\to \overline{D(A)}\) are continuous mappings, which satisfy some additional assumptions. Using two fixed point theorems due to G. Darbo - B. N. Sadovskii and W. V. Petryshyn, there are proved several existence results for mild solutions of (\(P_1\)), and existence results and asymptotic properties of integral solutions of (\(P_2\)). Some examples for nonlinear partial differential equations of parabolic type with integral nonlocal boundary conditions are also presented.
