The paper under review deals with Finsler transnormal functions. The main results lie in Theorem 1.3., Proposition 4.4., and Proposition 6.1. Some properties of transnormal Finsler functions, i.e., the natural generalization of distance functions and isoparametric Finsler functions are discussed. In particular, it is proved that critical level sets of an analytic transnormal function are submanifolds, and the level sets are equidistant to each other, i.e, the partition of \(M\) in to level sets is a Finsler partition, when the function is defined on a connected, compact analytic manifold \(M\). The conditions under which the level sets of a transnormal function on a Finsler manifold are level sets of singular Riemannian foliation for a Riemannian metric \(g\) are also discussed.
