In the present paper, authors studied and discussed equiangular tight frames (ETFs). A result involving Naimark complement for Steiner ETFs using balanced incomplete block design (BIBD) is given. In another result, using resolvable balanced incomplete block design (RBIBD), existence of Hadamard ETFs for given Hadamard matrices is proved. Real flat ETFs are considered and an equivalence between real flat ETFs and certain types of quasi-symmetric designs is obtained. Some numerical illustrations are also provided in the paper. A concluding result for different ETFs \(\{\varphi_j\}_{j=1}^n\) for \(\mathbb{F}^d\), where \(\mathbb{F}\) is \(\mathbb{R}\) or \(\mathbb{C}\), is given in terms of \(n\) and \(d\).
