Let \(\mathscr{E} : Y^2 = X^3 -27 c_4 (T) X + 54 c_6 (T)\) be an elliptic curve over \(\mathbb{Q} (T)\) with integral coefficient polynomials \(c_4 (T)\) and \(c_6 (T)\). By \(\mathscr{E}_t\) we denote the specialization of \(\mathscr{E}\) at \(t \in \mathbb{Z}\). Define \(W_{\pm } (\mathscr{E}, \mathbb{Z})\) be the sets of \(t \in \mathbb{Z}\) such that \(\mathscr{E}_t\) has the root number \(\pm 1\), respectively. The author of the current paper shows that the both sets \(W_{\pm} (\mathscr{E}, \mathbb{Z})\) are infinite, if \(\mathscr{E}\) satisfies certain assumptions on reduction under analytic conjectures such as Chowla's conjecture and the squarefree conjecture. To prove the result, the techniques she developed in her previous paper [\textit{J. Desjardins}, J. Lond. Math. Soc., II. Ser. 99, No. 2, 295--331 (2019; Zbl 1459.11141)] are used throughout. The author also points out that the elliptic curve \(\mathscr{V}\) studied by \textit{L. C. Washington} [Math. Comput. 48, 371--384 (1987; Zbl 0613.12002)] with \(W_{+}(\mathscr{V},\mathbb{Z})=\emptyset\) does not satisfy the conditions of the above theorem.
