The authors study the motion of an incompressible heat-conducting fluid described by the Rayleigh-Benard equations in a cylinder with the external (non-autonomous) force depending on the temperature. The existence of a global strong two-dimensional solution is proved. Then, the stability of such two-dimensional solutions in the set of three-dimensional solutions is shown.
