    The aim is to present the construction of an output-feedback \(\varepsilon\)-dependent \(H_{\infty}\) controller for the so-called non-standard singularly perturbed systems. This controller, determined as ``robust optimal controller'' is required to minimize, for sufficiently small values of \(\varepsilon\), the closed-loop entropy (as \(s \to \infty\)) while ensuring a prescribed \(H_{\infty}\)-norm bound. It is shown that the robust optimal controller is the formal first-order approximation to the minimizing controller gain. This latter controller gain is designed by solving a coupled pair of \(\varepsilon\)-dependent Riccati and Lyapunov equations.
