A Mendelsohn triple system of order \(v\) (MTS(\(v\))) having an automorphism consisting of a single fixed point and precisely \(k\) cycles of length \((v-1) / k\) is said to be \(k\)-rotational. The authors extend previous work by Cho by showing that a \(k\)-rotational MTS(\(v\)) exists if and only if \(v \equiv 0,1\pmod 3\) and \(v \equiv 1\pmod k\), except when \(k=1\) and \(v \equiv 0 \pmod 6\) or \(v=10\).
