The modular curve \(X=X(p)/ \mathbb{Q}\), \(p\) an odd prime, classifying elliptic curves with level \(p\) structure, admits an action of the group \(G=\text{GL}_2 (\mathbb{F}_p)\). For every subgroup \(H\) of \(G\) consider the quotient \(\pi_H:X\to X_H\) and its Jacobian \(J_H=\text{Jac}(X_H)\). \textit{I. Chen} [``The Jacobian of modular curves associated to Cartan subgroups'', Ph.D. thesis, Oxford 1996, and Proc. Lond. Math. Soc., 77, III. Ser. No. 1, 1-38 (1998; Zbl 0903.11019) and \textit{B. Edixhoven} [``On an result of Imin Chen'' (preprint); see also \textit{B. De Smith} and \textit{B. Edixhoven}, Math. Res. Lett. 7, No. 2-3, 147-153 (2000; Zbl 0968.14024)] showed that for certain subgroups \(B,N,N'\) of \(G\) the products of Jacobians \(J_N'\times J_B\) and \(J_N\times J_G\) are isogenous over \(\mathbb{Q}\). In the paper under review this relation is explicitly described in terms of specific correspondences.
