The author continues his research presented in his paper [J. Differ. Equations 99, No. 2, 306-341 (1992; Zbl 0762.34021)]. The problem is originated from the bifurcation theory of planar vector fields, when a hyperbolic saddle is connected to an equilibrium undergoing a bifurcation (saddle-node in the previous paper, pitchfork in this one). The topics is related to the PDE systems of hyperbolic conservation laws.
