A pairwise balanced design is \textit{uniformly resolvable} if its block set can be partitioned into parallel classes so that the blocks within each parallel class have the same size. This paper examines the existence of uniformly resolvable designs with block sizes three and four, in which the number of parallel classes consisting of blocks of size four is specified. A complete existence result is given when there are three or five parallel classes of blocks of size four.
