Given a bounded bilinear map \(\Phi \colon X \times Y \rightarrow Z\) between Banach spaces, \(A_{\Phi}=X\oplus_1 Y \oplus_1 Z\) becomes a Banach algebra equipped with the multiplication \((x,y,z)(u,v,w)=(0,0,\Phi(x,v))\). When \(\Phi\) is nonzero, \(A_{\Phi}\) is a noncommutative Banach algebra that does not have a bounded approximate identity. In this paper, the authors show that this algebra can be an interesting source of examples. They prove that \(A_{\Phi}\) is never \(n\)-weakly amenable and can have very differential topological centers.
