The authors consider equations of parabolic type with a real positive time variable and \(p\)-adic spatial variables. The operator acting with respect to the latter is \[ (W\varphi )(x)=\int_{\mathbb Q_p^n}\frac{\varphi (x-y)-\varphi (x)}{w(\|y\|_p)}d^ny \] where \(w\) has a power-like behavior (the case where it is exactly a power function has been studied by many authors). Fundamental solutions of the Cauchy problem for various equations of the above type are constructed and investigated. In a previous paper by the authors, such equations were studied by semigroup methods; see [J. Math. Phys. 54, No. 11, 113503, 17 p. (2013; Zbl 1288.82027); erratum ibid. 55, No. 10, 109901, 1 p. (2014; Zbl 1298.82029)].
