    The boundary behavior of positive functions \(u\) satisfying \[ -\Delta u - \frac{\kappa}{d^2(x)} u + g(u) = 0 \quad \text{in } \Omega \] is studied, where \(\Omega\) is a bounded smooth domain in \({\mathbb R}^N\), \(0<\kappa\leq1/4\), \(d(\cdot)\) is the distance function to \(\partial\Omega\), and \(g\) is a continuous nondecreasing function. The Martin kernel associated to the linear operator \({\mathcal L}_k=-\Delta-\frac{\kappa}{d^2(x)}\) is constructed. When \(g(u)=|u|^{q-1}u\), a critical exponent \(q_c=q_c(M,\kappa)>1\) is found.
