This work is devoted to the study of asymptotic properties of solutions to Caputo fractional differential equations. The authors discuss linearized Mittag-Leffler stability of the solution and give a result for trivial solutions under certain conditions on the forcing term. The construction of the Lyapunov-Perron operator is discussed. As an application, an example of a fractional Lorenz system is provided. After these results, the authors move to Lypaunov's second method and discuss the relationship between Lipschitz condition, stability and speed of decay, separation of trajectories. An example is provided for illustration. The paper presents these results in a very systematic manner.
