Polymatroids and greedoids are different relaxations of the concept of matroids. These relaxations are combined to introduce polymatroid greedoids, and a superclass of them, called local poset greedoids. These latter are characterized via excluded minors. Several constructions are given, and relations among many subclasses of greedoids are demonstrated.
