In the paper under the review, the author provides an improvement of his previous work by proving the effective forms of the Sato-Tate conjecture for holomorphic cuspidal newforms. Also, the author proves an effective form of the joint Sato-Tate distribution for two twist-inequivalent newforms. We note that the obtained results are unconditional due to recent work of \textit{J. Newton} and the author [``Symmetric power functoriality for holomorphic modular forms. I'', Preprint, \url{arXiv:1912.11261}; Part II, Preprint, \url{arXiv:2009.07180}].
