Noncommutative classical invariant theory (Q5905387): Difference between revisions

Noncommutative invariants of the group \(SL(2,K)\) are investigated. A symbolic method for invariants and covariants is developed. Decompositions of \(S_ n\)-modules consisting of noncommutative invariants of degree \(n\) into irreducible modules are obtained and some Hilbert series are calculated. It is shown that the generating function for the numbers of the irreducible modules is a rational function. Non- commutative analogs of the Cayley-Sylvester theorem and Hermite reciprocity law and other interesting results are proved.
