The authors investigate the primitive quotients \(A_ \lambda=U({\mathfrak {sl}}_ 2(\mathbb{C}))/(g_ \lambda)\) [where \(g_ \lambda=2ef+2fe+h^ 2- (\lambda^ 2-1)\), \(\lambda\in\mathbb{C}\), and \(\{e,f,g\}\) is the usual base of \({\mathfrak {sl}}_ 2(\mathbb{C})]\) of the universal enveloping algebra of \({\mathfrak {sl}}_ 2(\mathbb{C})\). \textit{T. Hodges} [``Morita equivalence of primitive factors of \(U({\mathfrak {sl}}(2))\)'', Preprint] has calculated the Grothendieck group of \(A_ \lambda\) for \(\lambda\neq 0\): \(K_ 0(A_ \lambda)\cong\mathbb{Z}^ 2\). In this article the author determines the higher cyclic homology groups of \(A_ \lambda\). The Chern character \(\text{ch}_{2n}: K_ 0(A_ \lambda)\to HC_ n(A_ \lambda)\) is also determined.
