The authors present a number of tests which enable estimation of several eigenvalue regions for discrete systems with time delays and structured perturbations. These analyses lead to stability and instability conditions as well as bounds for uncertainties guaranteeing the robustness in the sense of eigenvalue regions in the complex plane. The reasoning is based on the matrix norm techniques and the concept of M-matrix. The results have been verified by two numerical examples.
