In this paper the authors use a Lagrange-type interpolation formula (attributed to Boas and Bernstein, in this case) to estimate irregularly sampled band-limited functions. The interpolation formula uses only a finite number of neighbors, that number depending on the admissible truncation error. An estimate of the truncation error is established. The authors present also a reconstruction algorithm together with a numerical example.
