A real Banach space \(X\) is said to have the ball generated property (BGP) if every closed, bounded and convex set in \(X\) is the intersection of finite union of balls. In this paper, the author shows that this property is stable under \(c_0\) and \(l_p\)-sums for \(1<p<\infty\). It is also shown that the space of operators \(L(X,C(K))\) has the BGP if and only if \(X^*\) has the BGP and \(K\) is a finite set.
