The author considers non-commutative \(\mathbb P^1\)-bundles over a smooth projective scheme. Such bundles are defined as categories, and the way to understand them is that for a commutative \(\mathbb P^1\)-bundle the corresponding category is that of the sheaves of modules over it. There is a natural notion of Ext's for objects in such categories which allows the author to state and prove a natural generalization of the usual Serre finiteness of the cohomology of a coherent sheaf and vanishing of the higher cohomology groups of a coherent sheaf when it is twisted by \(\mathcal O(n)\) for \(n\) big enough. The paper contains also an application, due to I. Mori, of the non-commutative Serre theorems to the proof of a Riemann-Roch theorem and an adjunction formula for non-commutative \(\mathbb P^1\)-bundles over a smooth projective curve.
