\(L^2\)-solutions of the eigenvalue problem \[ -u''+q(x)u=\lambda u,\quad x\in [-1,0]\cup (0,1), \] satisfying the transmission conditions \[ u(0-)-\delta u(0+)=0,\quad u'(0)-\delta u'(0+)=0, \] and \[ \alpha_1u(-1)+\alpha_2u'(-1)=0=\lambda (\beta'_1u(1)-\beta_2'u'(1))+\beta_1u(1)-\beta_2 u'(1) \] are considered. Here, all coefficients are real, \(q\) is continuous and has finite limits \(q(0\pm)\). For fixed \(\delta\), asymptotic formulae for the eigenvalue \(\lambda\) are derived as well as asymptotic formulae for the corresponding eigenfunctions. Moreover, the dependence on the transmission parameter \(\delta\) is discussed.
