This paper is concerned with the algebraic K-theory of Dedekind-like rings. These are multiple pull-backs of Dedekind domains of a particular kind. The main theorem is that under suitable conditions there are generalised Mayer-Vietoris sequences; they are called ``generalised'' because they involve birelative groups. There are applications to group rings of cyclic groups, to certain subrings of \({\mathbb{Z}}\times {\mathbb{Z}}\), to rings of the form \({\mathbb{Z}}[\sqrt{m}]\), and to the coordinate ring of n lines in the plane.
