The operation of cross-cloning is introduced in order to generate all antipodal graphs of diameter 3 (a graph is antipodal if it has a central symmetry). Then, a lower bound for the number of triangles contained in an antipodal graph of diameter 3 and n vertices (which is not bipartite) is obtained: 2n-12.
