A 2-(v,k,\(\lambda)\) block design is called resolvable if its block set can be partitioned in classes (``parallel classes'') such that each class partitions the point set. In the paper under review the authors construct for each prime power \(k\geq 3\) a resolvable \(2-(k(k+1),k,k-1)\) design. For \(k\geq 5\) these design were previously not known to exist.
