This paper is the second of two review articles [for the first part, see Commun. Algebra 31, No. 2, 783--818 (2003; Zbl 1056.13015)] introducing duality tools into computer algebra. The focus is on computational applications of Macaulay's notions of inverse systems and Noether equations. One such application is to the characterization of the irredundant reduced primary decomposition of a zero-dimensional ideal.
