A lower bound of the strongly unique minimal projection constant of \(\ell ^n_\infty\), \(n\geqslant 3\) (Q872002): Difference between revisions

The authors study the projections of \(l^n_\infty\) onto some of its subspaces and give a lower bound for the strongly unique minimal projection constant. They show that each \(k\)-dimensional Banach space with polytope unit ball of certain dimensional faces is isometrically isomorphic to a subspace of \(l^n_\infty\), \(n \geq 3\), \(1 \leq k\leq n-1\). They further point out the applications of their result and also make some conjecture about strongly unique projection constants for a related problem.
