The Gibbsian particle systems with two-body interaction are studied, the interesting cases of singular hard-core and discontinuous interaction are included. The conservation of translational symmertry for non-smooth singular or hard-core potentials in a point particle setting is investigated. The non-smoothness is treated by generalizing a previous method of the author, this has the advantage of simplifying the integrability condition given by former authors and so the hard-core potentials can easily be included. With this the conservation of translational symmetry for the pure hard-core model can be shown to work. The precise setting of the general problem of the general hard-cores is given in the following sections together with the corresponding lemmas and their proofs.
