Let \(R_Q\) be the Yang-Baxter operator made up of a nonzero multiparameter \(Q\), as described in \textit{A. Sudbery}'s paper [J. Phys. A, Math. Gen. 23, No. 15, L697-L704 (1990; Zbl 0722.17007)]. In this paper the author studies pointed Hopf algebras \(U(R_Q)\), where \(U(R_Q)\) is the Hopf algebra constructed by \textit{L. Faddeev, N. Reshetikhin} and \textit{L. Takhtadzhyan} [Adv. Ser. Math. Phys. 9, 97-110 (1989; Zbl 0716.17010)] inside the finite dual of the corresponding multiparameter deformation \(A(R_Q)\) of the coordinate algebra of \(n\times n\) matrices. The main result of the paper states that, under certain restrictions on the nonzero multiparameters \(Q\) and \(Q'\), two finite dimensional Hopf algebras \(U(R_{Q'})\) and \(U(R_Q)\) can be obtained from each other by twisting the coalgebra structure if and only if \(G(U(R_{Q'}))=G(U(R_Q))\). Explicit examples are given of such Hopf algebras with nonisomorphic groups of group-like elements, which are therefore not twist equivalent. It is also shown that \(U(R_Q)\) is always a Hopf algebra quotient of a double crossproduct of its nonnegative and nonpositive parts. In order to establish the main result, the author adopts \textit{N. Andruskiewitsch} and \textit{H.-J. Schneider}'s results on the structure of pointed Hopf algebras [as in Adv. Math. 154, No. 1, 1-45 (2000; Zbl 1007.16027); Math. Sci. Res. Inst. Publ. 43, 1-68 (2002; Zbl 1011.16025)]. In particular, she shows that the pointed Hopf algebra \(U(R_Q)\) is of type \(A_n\).
