Existence of Lagrange function for interpolation with radial basis function on half plane is established. The results proved here are applicable to a general class which includes the thin plate spline and multiquadrics [cf. \textit{A. Bejancu, jun.}, East J. Approx. 6, No. 4, 447--463 (2000; Zbl 1090.41503) and East J. Approx. 6, No. 4, 465--491 (2000; Zbl 1092.41500)].
