To develop the title model, the authors elaborate a theory involving only volume changes, which means that they introduce only one scalar. Thus his new theory is unable to use an internal length for localized isochoric areas. The rest of the paper is devoted to the development of a finite element method related to this model, and to the corresponding validation procedures. The model proves to be quite efficient to treat problems with plastic volumetric strain, such as dilatation problem. Additionally, this is a less time-consuming model.
