In 1975 K.~Böröczky constructed some ingenious tilings of the hyperbolic plane \(\mathbb{H}^2\). A similar tiling, which was constructed by R.~Penrose in 1975, is more frequently referred to in the literature. Later V.~Makarov considered analogues of Böröczky tilings in the high-dimensional hyperbolic space. In the paper under review the authors consider families of Böröczky tilings in the hyperbolic space of an arbitrary dimension. They study some basic properties of these tilings and classify all possible symmetries. In particular, it is shown that these tilings are non-crystallographic, and that there are uncountably many tilings with a fixed prototile.
