\textit{S. Rahmani} in [J. Geom. Phys. 9, No.~3, 295--302 (1992; Zbl 0752.53036)], proved that the three-dimensional Heisenberg group \(H_3\) has three left invariant Lorentzian metrics \(g_1, g_2\) and \(g_3\) not isometric to each other. In this interesting and well written paper the author Kensuke Onda characterizes the left invariant Lorentzian metric \(g_1\) as a Lorentz Ricci soliton, obtained as a generalization of one of the Einstein metrics. The Ricci solution \(g_1\) is a shrinking non gradient Ricci soliton. The author further proves that the group \(E(2)\) of rigid motions of the Euclidean 2-space and the group \(E(1,1)\) of rigid motions of the Minkowski \(2\)-space have Lorentz Ricci solitons that are also shrinking and non gradient Ricci solitons.
