The author investigates in detail and establishes new sufficient conditions for the global asymptotic stability of the following logistic equation with piecewise constant arguments \[ \frac{dN(t)}{dt}=N(t)r\{1-\sum_{j=0}^{m}b_{j}N([t-j])\},\tag{\(*\)} \] where \(r>0,~b_{j}\geq 0,~j=0,1,\dots,m,\) and \(\sum_{j=0}^{m}b_{j}>0\), with initial condition \(N(-\ell )=N_{-\ell }\geq 0,~\ell =1,2,\dots,m\) and \(N(0)=N_{0}>0\). \([t]\) means the maximal integer not greater than \(t\). Some examples and numerical simulations are presented to show that the obtained results generalize previous works. In addition to that the examples show that there are several conditions for the global stability of the equation, depending on the coefficients on the delay terms of the equation, beyond the 3/2 type stability condition.
