The authors study the shift map \(T\) on the symbolic space \(X=\{0,1,\dots,m-1\}^\mathbb{N}\), \(m\geq 2\), which is endowed with the standard metric \(d(x,y)=m^{-n}\), where \(n\) is the largest integer \(k\geq 0\) for which \(x_i=y_i\) for all \(1\leq i\leq k\). Consider two real-valued Hölder-continuous maps \(f_1\) and \(f_2\) on \(X\). For any real \(\alpha\) let \(L(\alpha)=\{x\in X:\;\lim_n\frac{1}{n}\sum_{k=1}^nf_1(Tx^k)f_2(Tx^{2k})=\alpha\}\). In the case when \(f_1\) and \(f_2\) depend only on the first coordinates, the Hausdorff dimension of \(L(\alpha)\) is computed.
