The author considers a variant of the operad of partial associative algebras [\textit{A. V. Gnedbaye}, Contemp. Math. 202, 83--113 (1997; Zbl 0880.17003)]. This operad, denoted by \(V\) in the paper under review, is generated by an operation \(\square\) of arity \(3\), degree \(1\), and satisfying the identity \(\square\circ_1\square - \square\circ_2\square + \square\circ_3\square = 0\). The author proves that the operad \(V\) has a Gröbner basis \(Q_x\), \(x\in\mathsf{Y}\), indexed by the set of binary trees \(\mathsf{Y}\), so that the subset \(\mathsf{Y}_n\subset\mathsf{Y}\), consisting of the binary trees with \(n\) inner indices, correspond to the basis of the component \(V(2n+1)\), for each \(n\). The set of binary trees \(\mathsf{Y}_n\) is equipped with a poset structure, called the Tamari order. The author considers a quiver defined by (the Hasse diagram of) this poset, and the associated Grothendieck group of representations \(K_0(\text{mod }\mathsf{Y}_n)\), which has a natural basis formed by projective representations \(P_x\) (respectively, injective representations \(I_x\)) indexed by the elements \(x\in\mathsf{Y}_n\). He studies the mapping \(\psi: V(2n+1)\rightarrow K_0(\text{mod }\mathsf{Y}_n)\) such that \(\psi(Q_x) = P_x\). He proves that the Coxeter transformations of the posets \(\mathsf{Y}_n\), basically defined by \(\theta(P_x) = - I_x\), for \(x\in\mathsf{Y}_n\), correspond to the operators \(\theta: V(2n+1)\rightarrow V(2n+1)\) of a cyclic operad structure on \(V\). He uses this interpretation to determine the characteristic polynomial of these Coxeter transformations.
