The purpose of the paper under review is to present the author's study on f-harmonic morphisms. The main result of this work says: A map between Riemannian manifolds is an f-harmonic morphism if and only if it is f-harmonic and horizontally weakly conformal. It was clearly inspired by a result proved independently by \textit{B. Fuglede} in [Ann. Inst. Fourier 28, No. 2, 107--144 (1978; Zbl 0339.53026)] and \textit{T. Ishihara} in [J. Math. Kyoto Univ. 19, 215--229 (1979; Zbl 0421.31006)], which asserts that a map between Riemannian manifolds is a harmonic morphism if and only if is harmonic and horizontally weakly conformal. Firstly the author studies analogies of f-harmonic maps to F-harmonic maps. He recalls the study due to \textit{S. Ouakkas} et al. [JP J. Geom. Topol. 10, No. 1, 11--27 (2010; Zbl 1209.58014)] and likewise he notes that \textit{M. Ara} obtained [Kodai Math. J. 22, No. 2, 243--263 (1999; Zbl 0941.58010)] the equation of F-harmonic maps. Both equations play an important role for the structure of the first section of this work when the author concludes with a relationship between f-harmonic and F-harmonic maps. After that, in the second section, the authors presents his point of view of the study of the f-harmonic morphisms and proves the main result.
